about me
Erin Lequereux, B.A. Dance, M. MOSc
With a foundation in movement and performance, Erin began her first career as a professional dancer, performing across Canada and the United States. Years of dedication to the art of dance offered rich experiences on stages, but also came with the physical demands and injuries common to the profession.
It was through one such injury that Erin was introduced to osteopathy—a turning point that sparked a deep, personal interest in the body’s natural healing capacity. This discovery led to a transition from performance to practice, as she began to explore the principles of osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
Osteopathy is based on the perfection of Nature's work. When all parts of the human body are in line, we have health. - A.T. Still
What draws Erin deeply to osteopathy is its rational, anatomy-based approach to understanding the body. Grounded in the sciences of structure and function, osteopathy offers logical, evidence-informed explanations for symptomatology—connecting the dots between dysfunction, compensation, and the body’s adaptive responses. This alignment between scientific reasoning and embodied knowledge resonated strongly, making osteopathy a natural extension of Erin’s lifelong connection to holistic healing.
Driven by a commitment to helping the individual, Erin integrates a grounded, compassionate approach to healing, combining the knowledge of anatomy with the therapeutic power of manual application. My work today is informed by the artistry of expression, the science of anatomy, and a strong belief in the body’s ability to heal itself when given the right support.
